COVID-19 secure

Your safety is of utmost importance. Because of this, stringent COVID Secure safe practice guidelines laid down by the British Acupuncture Council have been implemented. This is the gold standard in safe practice for acupuncturists during the pandemic.

I will not be able to treat you if…

  • you have symptoms that may be caused by COVID-19, including if you are waiting for a test

  • you have received a positive COVID-19 test result (whether or not you have symptoms)

  • you currently live in the same household as someone with COVID-19 symptoms, or with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19

When you come for treatment

You will need to wear a face covering, usually for the whole time that you are in the building. If you do not have your own, I will provide one for you. If you are not able to wear a face covering and/or are exempt from wearing one, please let me know. In-treatment exceptions are if you are lying face-down on the treatment couch, or I am using acupuncture points on the face.

You will be asked to use hand sanitiser gel when you enter.

Please arrive as close to your appointment start time as possible, rather than early. This avoids having too many people in the same area at the same time.

Please attend your appointment alone, unless you need a carer or help with mobility.

Please take care to remain two meters away from anyone else in the building.

I will always wear a face mask and may also wear a visor at times.

My cancellation policy will be waivered, if you show any symptoms of COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID-19 and are therefore unable to attend your appointment. Should this be the case, please inform me immediately.
